The Shenzhou-8 spacecraft was launched at 5:58 on November 1, 2011, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China by the Long March 2F Yao-8 carrier rocket. After 397 hours in orbit, the reentry capsule of Shenzhou-8 landed in the central region of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at 19:32 on November 17, 2011, and was transported to the China Academy of Space Technology at 12:00 on November 19, 2011.

 

At 10:00 on November 21, 2011, notaries Xiong Ling and Pan Jing from the Beijing Fangyuan Notary Office attended the on-site cabin-opening process of the reentry capsule at the China Academy of Space Technology, and preserved Lixing Food's payload at the Beijing Fangyuan Notary Office. On November 25, 2011, notary Pan Jing from the Beijing Fangyuan Notary Office, along with staff members Yuan Hui and Yuan Jing from the China Academy of Space Technology, opened the payload packaging at the notary office and inventoried the contents. On December 8, Mr. Wang Yonghe, President of Fujian Lixing, and notaries from the Beijing Fangyuan Notary Office conducted another inventory and verification of the commemorative envelopes carried aboard, confirming that Lixing's product series were among the payloads of the Shenzhou-8 spacecraft.
